Requirements: Internet-connected computer w/ browswer

Cost: Free

 

This is a unique video and video w/ PowerPoint sharing and commenting tool. You can share one or more videos or video snippets from YouTube, Goodgle Video and other video sites then comment directly on those videos.  You can also upload presentation files to have displayed side-by-side with a video and comment directly on the video or presentation file.

Example Uses

  • a faculty member finds (or creates and posts) an interesting, thought-provoking video on YouTube or elsewhere on the Internet and  shares it on a web site or in a WebCT / Blackboard course for students to discuss.
  • a student creates a video presentation and shares it with others to get feedback comments prior to turning it in for a grade

 

Benefits

  • use of video can enhance learning and is appealing to visual learners
  • being able to add discussion comments directly on video or presentation makes video watching a more interactive learning process
  • ability to embed in your own web site or LMS means keeping your content contained in your LMS (e.g. WebCT)

 

 

Tutorials
